Technically advanced Amazon Echo along with cloud-based voice service Alexa provide access to all major streaming platforms and vital apps.

Your Amazon Echo maintains many skills and abilities, however, the essential one, streaming your media library through an Echo device is not easy. First, you need to upload music to Amazon Music Storage for playback on Echo devices, but Amazon refused that service already. Now better to stream via Bluetooth from your computer or connect to a service like Plex.

Therefore, the simplest way to listen to music on an Echo device is through a music streaming platforms. That could be Amazon Music for sure, but you can further access other services from your PC, mobile phone or tablet. Let’s have a look at how it works.

You can link several different music services, including Spotify Premium, Apple Music, Deezer, Gimme, iHeartRadio, Pandora, SiriusXM, Tidal, and Vevo to Amazon Echo.

To access these services you can use your subscriber accounts and pay where it is needed. Then you have to link streaming services with Alexa and then add it to the needed device.

You can also stream music from your mobile device to your Echo via Bluetooth. Your Echo will go into pairing mode. To pair your mobile device with your Echo via the Alexa app, tap Devices > Echo & Alexa, then select the Echo device you want to pair with your phone or tablet.
